I was reading an article on KCM Blog as I often do, and ran into this;

in MN we’re seeing a big influence from a company based out of the east coast that is buying up homes for rentals, the plan is to use the rental income to offset the holding cost and make some money in short term and then once the market has peaked they will sell the homes to gain back their intial investment.
