Wayzata High School – Plymouth, MN

Wayzata High School

2016 marked the first full year of Wayzata High School Students in their newly expanded campus in Plymouth, Minnesota. This campus is home to approximately 3300 students in grades 9 to 12, making it the largest secondary school by enrolment in Minnesota. It is also the largest Minnesota secondary school by structural size, with buildings and classrooms that make up 487,000 square feet.

The expanded campus was built after the high school outgrew its 2 former locations, which are now currently West and Central middle schools, and was bursting at the seams in its current location. In 2014, voters approved a referendum for a $109 million bond request to expand the high school and improve security and technology.
