I’m a big fan of the Bravo TV Series, Million Dollar Listing (Both LA & NY) so in honor of the upcoming season premier of Million Dollar Listing New York, I decided to write about the Million Dollar Listings in our market! When you think of million dollar homes in Minnesota, the first thing that comes to mind is Lake Minnetonka, home to many famous people and interesting architecture. I won’t even begin to scratch the surface of the stories to be told about these homes on the lake. Just like New York City, Minneapolis offers some amazing penthouses and condo buildings. Below are some of my favorite million dollar listings here in Twin Cities / West Metro area, including Wild Meadows in Medina, homes for sale on Lake Minnetonka, historic estates on Summit Ave, Kenwood area, and the penthouse at the Caryle.
As much as I love the show, there isn’t nearly as much drama in real estate as they make it out to be. We don’t have dramatic negotiations on the phone or in person, and we don’t get in arguments with other realtors. To be honest, it is more about working together to accomplish a common goal, there really is no place for drama in real estate. It is no secret that realty TV Shows are often staged, most of the agents I know don’t have giant egos either. None the less, I’m a viewer myself and enjoy the show!
If Million Dollar listing ever came to Minnesota, I’d watch it, and sure would love to be on it!
